Saisuresh Sivaswamy has been a journalist for 41 years and wrote his very first column for Rediff.com on January 25, 1997. Prior to joining Rediff he had worked with the Indian Express, Amit Khanna’s Plus Channel, Mid-Day Publications, Indian Post, Onlooker fortnightly, Illustrated Weekly, Evening News of India, and the Times of India. Sai (as he prefers to be known) usually writes on politics, but once in a while you will find him reviewing the odd film, especially if it features Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan, and enjoys an occasional saappad.
